NIHR Manchester BRC hosted a ‘Digital reach through communications’ workshop at Nowgen Centre on 15 February, that focused on utilising digital communication tools and channels to improve research dissemination and impact.

The workshop took guests through an in depth look at the use of Twitter and online writing platforms, and how to use these to share research with a wider audience in order to facilitate discussion.

Speakers on the day included Professor Ian Bruce, Director of NIHR Manchester BRC, Scott Taylor, Research Services Manager and Professor Rick Body, Professor of Emergency Medicine and Co-Found of Saint Emlyn’s.
