Health Data Research UK is leading the delivery of the Digital Innovation Hub Programme – a UK-wide initiative to enable the safe and responsible use of health-related data at scale for research and innovation.
This is a four-year programme (September 2018 to July 2022) delivered on behalf of UK Research and Innovation and funded by the UK Research and Innovation’s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.
Health Data Research UK is working in partnership with a wide range of organisations and individuals to develop a draft prospectus that will define the specification for the Digital Innovation Hub Programme.
This is one of a series of engagement events to help define the specification for the architecture, data and technical standards, and governance frameworks required to build a UK-wide health research data infrastructure.
This event is being hosted by Health Data Research UK and run in partnership with the AHSN Network and Health Innovation Manchester.
Speakers will include:
- Gerry Reilly, Chief Technology Officer, Health Data Research UK
- Ben Bridgewater, Chief Executive, Health Innovation Manchester
- Dr Fozia Ahmed, Consultant Cardiologist, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
