Health Innovation Manchester publishes 2019/2020 Impact Report
Health Innovation Manchester has published its annual Impact Report for 2019-2020.
The report examines how the organisation has accelerated innovation to improve the health and wellbeing of our 2.8 million citizens in Greater Manchester.
The interactive report features information, case studies and data about our work across our four key pillars:
- Health and Care Catalysts – including our Greater Manchester programmes, our work as an Academic Health Science Network through our national AHSN Network commission and the work of our Greater Manchester and Eastern Cheshire Patient Safety Collaborative
- Digital Disrupters – including our work on the GM Care Record and using digital technology to transform healthcare
- Groundbreaking Researchers – including the work of Manchester Academic Health Science Centre (MAHSC), the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Greater Manchester (ARC-GM) and our research partnerships across Greater Manchester
- Industry Partners – including our work through the Innovation Nexus, national commercial partnerships and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) programmes in Greater Manchester and East Cheshire
The report also features sections on our Patient and Public Involvement work, the Utilisation Management Unit, our pipeline and portfolio management approach, governance and finance.
