The Project Support Officer will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service, supporting senior managers and staff within the PMO team, in coordinating, planning and scheduling programmes across the organisation’s portfolio; from project initiation through to final completion and revenue realisation.
This will include; Supporting the delivery of projects to agreed business requirements, agreed timescales and budgets in line with corporate project management standards; taking responsibility for creating and motivating teams as appropriate; working with stakeholders, to ensure that projects meet business requirements, specifically ensuring the benefits realisation plans are in place and delivered; and ensuring effective project communications so that all stakeholders receive timely accurate and appropriate information and are able to provide their input to the project.
Based on defined responsibilities, the post holder woll take accountability for ownership of project deliverables and day-to-day management of project issues including escalation where required. They will also identify risks and issues and recommends control measure and actions.
