Health Innovation Manchester’s Chief Executive has featured in a new video with the Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) discussing health innovation and Greater Manchester’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Professor Bridgewater was interviewed by the ABHI’s Director, Policy & Communications, Richard Phillips, as part of a new series of conversations with the ABHI’s regional partners.

Health Innovation Manchester and the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership formed a partnership with the Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) in 2018.  The partnership aims to ensure GM benefits from the accelerated introduction of the latest proven healthcare technologies.

During the interview, Professor Bridgewater discusses the role of HInM within Greater Manchester’s health system, the rapid response to COVID-19 and his own journey from surgeon to CEO.
