The Bionow Product of the Year Award will be presented to:
High-quality innovative products which have impacted significantly upon a problem or problems, identified within the life science or healthcare sectors.

The Bionow Start-Up Award will be presented to:
An outstanding organisation that initiated activity no earlier than January 2022 and which can demonstrate sustainability plus growth potential. The award has been judged on the quality of the company product, service or R&D initiative and acknowledges the potential for growth with the company, commercial aspects and route to market.

Projects that have demonstrated a major step forward in research and generated intellectual property or demonstrated an innovative and novel approach to a problem.

The provision of specialist technical services which impact upon identified problems or where there is a gap in the market. These services demonstrate innovation in the service provided or within the business model utilised.

The Bionow Business Support Award will be presented to a company that can demonstrate:
The provision of innovative business support products and services, judged on the commitment, professionalism, creativity, and success of specialist support to businesses in the life sciences sector.

An exceptional individual within the first five years of their life science career or shortly following a career break or change. The individual will have demonstrated significant contribution to their current role, with the judges considering the quality and novelty of the individual’s approach, commercial potential, leadership and business development skills.

The Bionow One to Watch Award will be presented to:
An emerging individual at the beginning of their life sciences career who is already demonstrating exceptional promise, enthusiasm, and potential to make a lasting impact in the sector.

The Bionow Social Impact Award will be presented to an organisation, individual or team who can demonstrate:
Activities aimed at creating significant, positive societal changes by addressing a pressing and defined challenge. These can be developed by a life science focused organisation and/or have an impact on the life sciences sector.

The Bionow Partnership and Collaboration Award will be presented to:
An organisation or business in the life sciences sector that has achieved a significant commercial outcome through collaboration or partnership involving at least one life sciences industry partner plus at least one other partner from academia, NHS, charity, third sector or industry.
