The Student Nursing Times Awards celebrate the best of the next generation of nurses and their educators.

Highlighting excellence in all specialities of student nursing, the awards also provide the opportunity to congratulate the lecturers, practice supervisors, universities, trusts and private organisations providing the best support for student nurses during their studies.

The Student Nursing Times Awards will be celebrated on 24th April 2026 in a glittering live ceremony at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, bringing together the nursing and midwifery community to shine a light on the brightest talent making their way into the profession.

Jacqui Cooper, Chief Nursing Information Officer for Health Innovation Manchester said: “Seeing Greater Manchester’s academic institutions and students once again recognised at these prestigious nursing awards demonstrates how strongly the region continues to lead in nursing education and professional development. The collective dedication to high‑quality training and the ongoing support shown to the nursing workforce across our system remains something to be incredibly proud of.”

Jonathan Massey, Programme Director for Academia at Health Innovation Manchester said: The continued success of Greater Manchester’s universities and students in reaching the finals of these respected nursing awards reflects the region’s growing influence in nursing research, education, and professional development. It reinforces our commitment to embedding evidence‑based practice and equipping future nursing leaders through high‑quality academic training and research opportunities. By further strengthening the connection between research and education, we are helping build a workforce prepared to drive meaningful improvements across health and care.”
