UKRI Design for Ageing Partnering Event
Webinar
You are invited to the UKRI Design for Ageing Partnering webinar.
Organised and hosted by Health Innovation Manchester, this session aims to connect innovators and businesses with key stakeholders in Greater Manchester and create partnerships to support funding opportunities, including the upcoming UKRI Designed for Ageing funding call.
The UKRI Designed for Ageing competition, which opens in September, is aimed at service-led organisations addressing issues around sustaining physical activity, independent living and managing the common complaints of ageing.
Business-led applications should have a person-centred design approach and must have potential to be shaped for market readiness by a series of design stage gates. ‘Designed for Ageing – Pre-Competition Workshop’ recording link here.
Additional bespoke support may be available to Greater Manchester and Cheshire East Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that wish to collaborate with stakeholders in the GM ecosystem.
By attending this event, you will gain a better understanding of the opportunities available to partner with key organisations in GM and the funding calls which can assist in progressing your innovations.
To introduce the specific strengths in GM, we will be welcoming some expert guest speakers that will focus on how to incorporate Public and Community Involvement and Engagement (PCIE) and Product Design principles into the funding application and what they could offer as a partner. We will also be welcoming expressions of interest from SMEs and innovators that are looking for partners to apply to the funding round.
The event will be held virtually on Zoom. Register below to receive the event details.
