HEART UK, the AHSNs and local clinical experts across primary and secondary care, are bringing live collaboration to the Yorkshire & Humber to spotlight the heightened focus on cholesterol in secondary prevention of Cardiovascular disease (CVD).

This free one-day event will be an opportunity to share best practice across three Yorkshire systems, network with colleagues, and gain insights into national models delivering the National Lipid Guidance.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Understand new opportunities for improved lipid management in England (such as the 2023/24 QOF and updated National Lipid Guidance).
2. Gain confidence achieving updated lipid targets (non-HDL target < 2.5 mmol/L or where non-HDL cholesterol is not recorded, an LDL-C target of < 1.8 mmol/L) for secondary prevention patients.
3. Hear about latest service implementation models to help reduce service pressures in both primary and secondary care.
