Dementia Hub Open Day
The Dementia Hub, Allerton Courtyard, Frederick Road Campus, Salford Institute for Dementia
The Salford Institute for Dementia was launched towards the end of 2013 to conduct vital research into living well with dementia. it emerged from the goal of University colleagues in enabling those living with dementia and their care partners to live as well as possible.
The Institute began work in earnest to meet a community engagement agenda and established a panel of people with dementia and care partners called the Dementia Associates.
As part of Dementia Action Week, 20-26 May 2019, the Salford Institute for Dementia will be hosting an Dementia Hub open day from 10am-3pm.
The day is an opportunity to visit the purpose designed Dementia Hub, based in Allerton Courtyard, and explore the range of activities onoffer.
There will cake and plant sales. No Sign up necessary; just come along!
