MAHSC Women & Children’s Research Domain Gynaecology Workshop and Collaboration Event
The Innovation Suite, Core Technology Centre
On 24th January 2023, the Manchester Academic Health Science Centre (MAHSC) Women & Children’s Research Domain will be bringing together specialist researchers, clinical staff, academics, and other professionals in the field of Gynaecology from across Greater Manchester to take part in the latest of a series of research collaboration workshops supported by Health Innovation Manchester. The event will be held from 12:00 – 16:30 on Tuesday 24th January in The Innovation Suite of the Core Technology Facility, 46 Grafton St, Manchester M13 9WU, at the University of Manchester and will welcome around 50 professionals to the in-person event. Catering will be provided ahead of the event starting and refreshments will be available for all attendees throughout, funded by the MAHSC Women & Children’s Domain.
The aim of the event will be to foster new collaborations between existing research teams within the field of Gynaecology healthcare, gynae oncology, urogynaecology, reproductive medicine, nursing, and physiotherapy. We will work to generate novel ideas for approaching gynaecology risks and concerns and sharing learning from the various research and clinical teams in Greater Manchester.
The event will be comprised of a set of keynote presentations from our partner organisations and academic institutions in GM, as well as from the MAHSC W&C Domain itself, to demonstrate and showcase the ongoing research and work in the field of Gynaecology. Each keynote will be followed by a group discussion session.

- Creating novel ideas for gynaecology research to address unmet need
