Join the four Northern Health Innovation Networks for the first in a series of Innovation Review Panels (IRPs), spotlighting real-world innovations that are already making a difference in healthcare.

This fast-paced, lunchtime session will focus on Cardiovascular, Kidney and Metabolic (CVKM) innovations that are currently being commissioned or used by NHS teams across the UK. CVKM is a key priority area due to its potential to:

• Improve identification and management of cardiovascular, kidney and metabolic risk factors
• Support earlier intervention and prevention of heart disease, stroke and related complications
• Enable more joined-up, person-centered care across pathways and settings
• Reduce avoidable demand on urgent, acute and elective care services
• Address unwarranted variation and health inequalities in outcomes
