Places available on informatics training scheme to help translational research improve skills
Translation Manchester, in collaboration with The University of Manchester Division of Informatics, Imaging and Data Sciences, are offering 50 funded placed on an Informatics Training Scheme.
Access to informatics support has been identified as a translational bottleneck for researchers in Manchester. To address this bottleneck, Translation Manchester is offering training to provide this expertise and ‘upskill’ translational researchers.
Applications are welcome from researchers of all career levels, for whom a lack of informatics expertise is preventing the progression of their research along the translational pipeline.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served, basis.
Available course units include:
- Bioinformatics and Systems Biology
- Statistics and Experimental Design
- Clinical Bioinformatics
- Health Data Science
- Genomic Medicine
- Epidemiology
