Inflammation and repair domain offering up to £10,000 to fund research projects
Researchers within Greater Manchester can apply for up to £10,000 in funding to support Inflammation and Repair research.
Health Innovation Manchester, through its Manchester Academic Health Science Centre (MAHSC) Inflammation and Repair Research Domain, is inviting researchers to apply for funding to support projects that tackle health problems across the Inflammation and Repair domain.
The awards are designed to pump-prime small or pilot research projects intended to drive new and developing research collaborations and result in grant applications.
The projects should focus on one of the domain’s four key themes, including:
- Predicting treatment outcomes to enhance healthy living (living well)
- Personalising treatment
- Prevention and early detection (start well)
- Training and building workforce
Awards can be used to cover the direct costs of staff or consumables and other costs involved with a project.
The awards are open to all health professionals, and applications from allied health professionals and NHS clinical scientists are encouraged.
Deadline for submission via email to MAHSC@healthinnovationmanchester.com is 30th April 2021.
