NIHR Manchester BRC Training Series: ‘Lifestyle interventions for disease prevention’
Audience: Staff and students engaged in or supporting all P4 medicine research affiliated with the BRC, CRF, The University of Manchester and/or Health Innovation Manchester and any public or patients interested in these research areas.
An opportunity to discuss and develop understanding around lifestyle interventions influencing disease occurrence and re-occurrence from BRC Research Themes.
Learning outcomes will include:
- Demonstrating the importance of lifestyle interventions in disease prevention and risk reduction;
- Understanding the psychology behind behaviour change and the best way to implement lifestyle interventions;
- Discovering some of the preventative research, action being taken in Manchester and key contacts.

For those unable to attend, a video recording of the event will be made available after the event via the BRC website.
