Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust Diagnostics and Technology Accelerator Launch event
Citylabs 1.0, Nelson Street, Manchester, M13 9NQ
Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) invites you to the launch of the MFT Diagnostics and Technology Accelerator (DiTA) on Thursday 7th February 2019.
What is DiTA?
The MFT DiTA initiative is led by a diverse multidisciplinary team of clinicians and methodologists, directed by Professor Rick Body, Professor and Honorary Consultant in Emergency Medicine, to catalyse the generation of evidence for commercially supplied in vitro diagnostics and medical technology.
It is an exciting opportunity to bring together patients, clinicians, researchers, commissioners and industry to generate the research evidence required to fast-track new devices and technologies into clinical practice.
Why attend?
Open to industry, researchers, clinicians and potential national partners, this event will be an opportunity for you to find out more about the MFT DiTA and how the initiative fits with the wider Greater Manchester landscape.
For industry participants, the benefits of attendance include the opportunity to:
- Access specific support to enable you to generate the evidence base to bring a product to the NHS market
- Hear about funding opportunities available from the DiTA initiative and Innovate UK
- Meet potential collaborators, based in the UK’s largest clinical academic campus
- Input into future activities, to tailor DiTA support to industry needs.
Confirmed speakers and participation from Innovate UK, National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE), British In Vitro Diagnostics Association (BIVDA) and Health Innovation Manchester.
