MAHSC Inaugural Lecture Series 2026: Prof Pietro D’Urso

The next in our ongoing series of MAHSC Inaugural Lectures for our 2026 Honorary Clinical Chairs will be presented by Pietro D’Urso, Consultant Neurosurgeon at Salford Royal Hospital, Part of Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, and will be held on Thursday 14th May 12:00-13:00 via MS Teams.

Pietro has held this position since 2014 and we are delighted to be able to showcase the contributions that he has made to the field of Neurosurgery over the course of his career, which includes numerous publications, a commitment to training and teaching, and authoring and reviewing book chapters and international journals, including World Neurosurgery, Surgical Neurology International and British Journal of Neurosurgery.

Pietro’s expertise spans across multiple specialised areas within Neurosurgery and we hope the award of this Clinical Chair position will continue to celebrate and move these achievements forward.
