Interview Skills: Centre for Academic and Research Development (CARD)

When did you have your last interview? Formal vs. Informal, academic vs. non-academic, panel vs. non panel. In this session we shall take a critical look at the interview process and, through practical exercises, show you how to give your best performance based on your skills, knowledge and experience.
The sessions aims are:-
- Emphasise the importance of effective preparation
- Understand the various questioning techniques
- Gain practical Interview experience
- Provide details of additional sources of information and support
Please note that you should bring your CV, and a copy of a job advertisement that is of interest to you, to the workshop.
