GM Connected Health Ecosystem: Adopting Personal Health Records (PHRs) in the NHS: towards a regional approach for Greater Manchester
Citylabs 1.0, Nelson Street, Manchester M13 9NQ
Personal Health Records (PHRs) enable people to view their own medical records, book appointments, and upload and manage their own health information. NHS England is encouraging health care providers to adopt PHR solutions as way for patients to better control and manage their health and care.
This GM Connected Health Ecosystem meeting is a joint event organised by the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Greater Manchester and Health Innovation Manchester. It brings together stakeholders from Greater Manchester (patients, health care providers, policy makers and industry partners) to explore and discuss their views and expectations of PHRs. This will inform strategic thinking in Greater Manchester about how PHRs can optimise patients’ experience and opportunities for improved services and outcomes.
The meeting will be in-person. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
