Course Start: Excel in Health 2020

The Excel in health programme is a series of business workshops run in partnership by Health Innovation Manchester, the Innovation Agency and the University of Chester to support health businesses in Cheshire.
The programme includes three sessions, by signing up to the programme you are committing to the events throughout March 2020. This is the first event in the Excel in Health Programme.

Excel in Health: Understanding the NHS – 5 March 2020
This workshop will focus on:
- The structure of the NHS and its national priorities.
- How procurement and commissioning work in the NHS.
- The culture of the NHS.
Excel in Health: Proposition – 12 March 2020
This workshop will focus on:
- How to package your innovation for the right audience.
- Value proposition and what makes your innovation attractive to the NHS.
- Business cases and why you need one for your innovation.
- The importance of real world validation.
Excel in Health: Pitching – 19 March 2020
This workshop will focus on:
- The importance of pitching and the theory behind it.
- A real world example of pitching to an expert panel.
- What funding is available.
