Academic and Researcher Development: Time Management and Stress
Simon Building, Room 4.38, The University of Manchester
The aim of this workshop is to give a basic introduction to key time management techniques such as planning and prioritising tasks, as well as tips on dealing with the most common time wasters and procrastination.
Carrying out research can be stressful and this stress can manifest itself in different ways; we will explore stress in more detail, particularly what is an acceptable level of tress and how to recognise when it is potentially harmful. The workshop will also cover managing working relationships, stress management and work/life balance.
University of Manchester staff can book onto this course by logging into the Training Catalogue.
